Our Program

ART SMART is a unique enriched arts program that offers every student of Clinton Junior Public School meaningful community-powered arts experiences that spark fun, growth and connection.

Established in 1989 through a generous gift from the late Beatrice Minden to ensure all students at the school have access to enriched arts experiences, ART SMART is powered by the registered charity Friends of Clinton (#139821805RR0001).

Creative sessions, artist honorariums and materials are funded and enabled by volunteer parents, teachers and the broader school community. ART SMART is not part of the TDSB and is not offered at other schools.

Call for Artists

ART SMART is seeking creative session/workshop proposals from Indigenous artists. Potential candidates must be First Nations, Metis or Inuit, and reside within the GTA or be willing to lead the creative sessions in person at our school in the GTA without travel reimbursement. ART NIGHT 2024

Thanks to all those who participated in Art Night 2024 on Wednesday, May 8. One of Clinton’s favourite events, Art Night… It was a magical night for our community to experience and celebrate the incredibly creative inner worlds of all Clinton students.
